Alice Through the Looking Glass

Alice Through the Looking Glass

In 1862, Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll), a shy Oxford mathematician with a stammer, created a story about a little girl tumbling down a rabbit hole. Thus began the immortal adventures of Alice, perhaps the most popular heroine in English Literature. Countless scholars have tried to define the charm of the Alice books – with wonderfully eccentric characters like the Queen of Hearts, Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Chesire Cat, Mock Turtle and the Mad Hatter. Perhaps, as Dodgson might have said, Alice is no more than a dream, a fairy tale about the trials and tribulations of growing up as seen through the expert eyes of a child.

All of Carroll’s famous characters come magically to life in this stellar production of Fairy Tales on Ice with Olympic figure skating sensation Nancy Kerrigan. Co-starring popular skating champions Charlene Wong-Williams, Tiffany Chin, Scott Williams and Natalie and Wayne Seybold, this delightful classic is a magnificent combination of a timeless tale with the grace and style of some of the world’s greatest figure skaters.

The songs of Academy Award winner Marvin Hamlisch, narration by Academy Award winner Greena Davis and the breathtaking jumps and spins will carry you to your own wonderland – only as far away as your dreams.
